Marilyn CunatMarilyn Cunat (nee Hosek), 90, passed away on February 8th, 2025.She was born in Berwyn, Illinois on October 6th, 1934, to the late James and Mae (Hucek) Hosek. She had one brother, James (predeceased). She graduated from Morton East High School and also from Northern Illinois University.She was the beloved wife of Ronald Cunat; and the loving mother to Laura, Rhonda (predeceased), and Todd (Lisa); and grandmother to David and Michael. Her husband, Ron, who she was married to for 68 years was the love of her life and her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy.She dedicated her life to education, family and service to others. She taught social studies at Lisle High School where she inspired countless students with her passion for history and learning. She was recognized with an award for being a top ten teacher.
